Three Lexicon Inc. employees were awarded the title of “Steel Strong Women in Construction” by the Steel Erectors Association of America this year.

Drew Crone, quality control inspector (shown above at left); Emily Keith, director of analytics (middle); and Janell Schmidt, chief human resource officer, were honored.

All nominees will be recognized during SEAA’s 2026 Convention and Trade Show May 5-8 in Kansas City, Missouri.

Crone was also honored as a 2026 Legacy Builder for her work and the impact she’s made in the steel construction industry.

“We are so proud of these deserving team members and all they have accomplished,” Lexicon CEO Patrick Schueck said. “Every day, they show outstanding commitment to the industry, the company and those around them. It’s gratifying for the SEAA to recognize the excellence we see everyday. Drew, Emily and Janell are hardworking, determined women who make Lexicon a better business.”
