Lexicon Promotes Chase Ertzberger to Director of Reality Capture

Expanded leadership role reflects growth of advanced field technology capabilities

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (Feb. 24, 2026) – Lexicon, Inc. has announced the promotion of Chase Ertzberger to director of reality capture, where he will take a leading role in building and scaling one of the company’s most innovative construction technology programs.

Ertzberger most recently led Lexicon’s Drone Operations Group, which has expanded significantly in recent years. As its capabilities have grown beyond traditional drone flights to include LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging), interior 3D scanning and future reality capture technologies, the group has recently been rebranded as the Reality Capture Team, reflecting the broader technologies and services the team now provides across the company’s multi-state footprint.

“Chase has been the driving force behind building this program from the ground up,” said Justin Lareau, vice president of IT and analytics. “What began as a focused drone initiative has evolved into a sophisticated, company-wide reality capture operation that supports construction delivery, project analytics and field documentation. This promotion recognizes both what Chase has already built and the strategic direction he is leading us in to better serve our internal teams and clients.”

Ertzberger joined Lexicon in 2024 as drone operations manager, where he led diverse projects, such as site mapping, progress tracking, inspections, LiDAR missions, marketing capture and comprehensive field documentation across multiple divisions, including Lexicon Industrial Constructors, Lexicon Construction Management, Universal and Heritage Links.

In addition to his work at Lexicon, Ertzberger has produced professional architectural photography and FAA-compliant drone media for national platforms and founded ACE Photo, a professional aerial and ground media company serving construction, architecture and real estate clients.

Ertzberger holds a master’s degree in industrial hygiene from Montana Technological University in Butte, Mont., and a bachelor’s degree in applied environmental spatial analysis from the University of North Georgia in Oakwood, Ga. He is an FAA Part 107-certified remote (sUAS) pilot with deep expertise in photogrammetry, LiDAR and enterprise UAV program leadership.
