Lexicon, Inc. Recognizes 20-Year Employees with $10,000, All-Taxes-Paid Bonuses

Lexicon CEO Patrick Schueck speak to employees at the 2025 Lexicon 20-Year Celebration

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (Oct. 20, 2025) – On Friday, Oct. 17, Lexicon, Inc. honored employees who have dedicated decades of service to building America. During the company’s annual awards luncheon held at its Custom Metals facility in the Port of Little Rock, Lexicon recognized 10 employees celebrating 20 years of service, each receiving a $10,000, all-taxes-paid bonus check and commemorative steel I-beam trophy.

Since Lexicon founder the late Tom Schueck established the 20-Year Incentive Program in 2002, the company has recognized more than 250 employees and awarded approximately $3.5 million in bonuses to those reaching this career milestone.

“In today’s world, long-term dedication like this is something to celebrate,” said Lexicon CEO Patrick Schueck. “Each of these honorees represents the best of Lexicon — their loyalty, craftsmanship and integrity define who we are as a company. In turn, we’re dedicated to fostering their growth and well-being through this initiative and others, such as our Lexicon University training program, an on-site health clinic and the ‘Strong as Steel: Building Mental Might’ mental health initiative.”

The company also celebrated three employees marking 35 years of service and one team member, Albert Head of Prospect Steel, who is celebrating an incredible 40 years with the company. The luncheon welcomed nearly 400 team members, friends and family to celebrate the honorees’ achievements.

The annual luncheon was the first use of the new Custom Metals shop – part of Lexicon’s $37.6 million expansion and renovation announced in March.

In addition to service awards, Lexicon presented its annual “Good Catch” awards, which recognize employees who identify and report potential safety hazards before they become incidents. This year’s recipients were Richard Nichols of the Fabrication division and Julian Palomo of the Construction division. Nichols’ attention to a crane hook improperly catching on a beam prompted a larger companywide initiative to improve material-handling safety. Palomo’s quick thinking on a job site stopped another contractor’s runaway vehicle and prevented what could have been a tragic accident. Each recipient received a $2,500 award for their vigilance and commitment to safety.

“At Lexicon, safety is a top priority and a shared responsibility, and it starts with people like Richard and Julian who speak up, take action and protect their teammates,” Schueck added. “Their actions reflect our culture of safety, accountability and care.”
