Arkansas-based Lexicon Inc. and its divisions have earned five safety awards from the American Institute of Steel Construction for outstanding safety performance in 2024, including two Awards of Honor, AISC’s top safety recognition.

The following Lexicon divisions earned AISC safety awards in steel fabrication and erection for having minimal days away, restricted or transfer (DART) injuries in 2024, as defined by OSHA:

  • Safety Award of Honor: Custom Metals – Little Rock, Ark. (DART rate of 0.0); Prospect Steel – Armorel, Ark. (DART rate of 0.0)
  • Safety Award of Merit: Lexicon Industrial Constructors – Little Rock, Ark. (DART rate of 0.31); Steel Fabricators of Monroe – Monroe, La. (DART rate of 0.47)
  • Safety Commendation: Prospect Steel – Little Rock, Ark. (DART rate of 1.24)
