Universal started almost 50 years ago in the basement of John and Sue Howell’s Alabama home. Today, it is a national leader providing insulation, roofing, sheeting, painting and scaffolding services for customers in the steel, cement, chemical processing and power industries. The addition of Universal to the Lexicon family of companies in 2022 was a natural fit, strategically increasing the broad array of services Lexicon provides to all of our customers.
