Metal fabrication and construction company Lexicon Inc. has completed the renovation of its Little Rock, Ark., headquarters. Enhancements include a redesigned front entrance, 5,000 sq. ft. of additional space, a new Owner’s Café dedicated to the company’s employee-owners, and a historic replica of founder Tom Schueck’s office.
The renovation is one component of a broader $37.6 million modernization project. The total scope of the renovation includes a 46,000-sq.-ft. expansion of Lexicon’s fabrication facility; remodeling of the Sloane Drive building, which will house some of the company’s Lexicon University internal training operations; and construction of a new production facility. In total, the project is expected to create 60 jobs.
