Universal played a key role in the construction of Nucor Brandenburg by installing 2 million square feet of non-insulated metal roofing and siding, along with scaffolding rental and installation. This new plate mill is a $1.7 billion capital investment by Nucor with the ability to produce 1.2 million tons annually or 97% of plate products consumed domestically.
