Big River Steel NGO Expansion
Universal installed 2 million square feet of insulated metal panels (IMP) and non-insulated metal roofing and siding on the Big River Steel NGO Expansion. This $450 million expansion by U.S. Steel launched a massive new line capable of producing 200,000 tons of non-grain oriented electrical steel annually. The NGO line at Big River Steel spans 2,333 feet (eight football fields).
